Non-urgent advice: How the Appointment Request System Works at The Hall Practice
At The Hall Practice, we want to make it easy and fair for everyone to get the care they need. Due to increasing demand and limited resources, we use a system that helps our clinical team understand your health needs and make sure you get the right support as quickly as possible.
How Does the Appointment Request System Work?
You can request an appointment in two ways:
– By telephone: Call our Patient Services Team.
– Online: Complete our appointment request form on the website.
When you contact us, either by phone or online, you will be asked a few simple questions about your health concerns. This helps our clinical team understand your situation better and decide the most appropriate next step for you. Whether you complete the form online or speak to a team member on the phone, the process is the same, ensuring fair access for all patients. What
Happens Next?
Based on your answers, our clinical team will review your request and get back to you with the best possible care option. This might be:
– A telephone consultation with a GP or nurse
– A face-to-face appointment
– Advice or guidance from our healthcare professionals
– Referral to another service if needed
Why Do We Ask These Questions?
Asking these questions helps us to:
– Understand your needs quickly and accurately
– Prioritise urgent cases appropriately
– Make sure you receive the right care without unnecessary delays
