The Hall Practice - New Premises
Dear Patient
The Hall Practice Relocation – Monday 26 June 2023
We hope this letter finds you well during this current spell of hot weather.
We are writing to let you know that our long-awaited move to the health centre next door will be going ahead and will take place on Monday 26 June 2023. As you may already know, and have seen, we have been working extremely hard to create a new and improved facility for our patients. NHS England have invested heavily into updating and modernising the building – to be known as ‘The Hall Practice’ (the sign is due to go up in the next few weeks) – which will give improved accessibility and better clinical facilities to support your health needs.
In preparation for the move, we will transition our operations to the new building on Saturday 24 June and Sunday 25 June, which will include moving our entire IT and phone systems, as well as all our medical equipment and furniture. We kindly ask for your understanding and patience over the next few weeks as we all settle into our new premises. During this time, if possible, we encourage you to visit our website to contact us - www.thehallpractice.co.uk - as we may experience temporary disruptions with our phone lines.
We want to assure you that despite the move, our contact number remains the same: 01753 989800. The only change is to our postcode – our address is now The Hall Practice, Hampden Road, Chalfont St. Peter, SL9 9SX. The premises will be open from 08.00 - 18.00 Monday to Friday; the phone lines are open from 08.30 - 18.00 Monday to Friday. Car parking facilities will remain the same with the addition of two new disabled bays at the top of the car park immediately outside our new practice building.
We would also like to reassure you that we have a dedicated and established clinical team who can be found in the ‘Meet The Team’ section on our website homepage. Following the move, we will inform patients of their named GP who you can request for continuity of care. You are however more than welcome to see any of our clinicians by specifying when you contact us. If your symptoms are felt to be clinically urgent it may not be appropriate to wait for a specific clinician, and we will therefore offer you the soonest available appointment.
For your convenience, there are multiple ways for you to contact us. Our 'Contact Us' form on the website homepage (www.thehallpractice.co.uk) is available to our patients even when the surgery is closed. Whether it is for appointments, enquiries, or general assistance, our team is here to help. Whichever route you choose to contact us, all queries are streamlined and assessed through the same system. As part of our clinical assessment, we may send a follow-up text to request further information or even a photo. This is done to aid the assessment process and ensure that you receive the most appropriate care.
We are in the process of creating a virtual tour of the new premises, presented by Dr Panesar, our new partner at The Hall Practice. We would encourage you to view this, either through our website or on our Facebook page, and we will notify you when it is available.
During the next few weeks, we kindly request that you continue to use the Calcot Medical Centre letterbox for dropping off letters or prescriptions outside our regular opening hours. We are waiting to have one installed for our new building! This temporary arrangement will ensure that your communications reach us promptly.
Once again, we sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we embark on this move. We are confident that our new facility will significantly enhance your healthcare experience. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us via our website, phone, or in person.
We look forward to caring for you in our new, improved and modern building.
Dr Nicola Turner, Dr Katherine Yeomans, Ruth Franklin, Dr Jasraj Panesar, and The Hall Practice Team
